Now this is one of those days that I never thought I’d see, Kim Kardashian making a complete 180 with the hairstyle. Ever since she has been a socialite, her iron straight raven locks have been somewhat of a signature look for her, yet here she is with an all new look. What could have prompted this switch? Who knows, maybe Kimmy thinks that blondes really do have more fun. Kim was spotted with her new look for the first time leaving Fred Segal on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood. Gotta say, I really prefer the darker look on this girl, this is almost going a little TOO J-Lo for me.

To get the look that Kim Kardashian has here, you want to start off with the same layered cut that she has here, and ask your stylist for some textured coloring. In this sense, the coloring is accomplished in almost the same way that the cut is, in choppy textured layers for a multi toned but even look. To style, use some straightening serum on towel dried hair, and blow dry your hair with a flat paddle brush pulling your hair straight as you dry. Use a flat iron to sleek your hair out as much as you can. When you are flat ironing, you want to pin the top sections of your hair up first, and flat iron the bottom sections for maximum fullness and all over straightness. Hold the hair on your curling iron for a few seconds, and simply let the wave fall loosely off the iron.
